rekmed started from struggle.  as a learner with dyslexia and adhd, test-taking was extremely difficult for me.  about 6-7 years into level 1 er/trauma adult and pediatric nursing i started to realize that i was good at explaining hard medical concepts.  so i doubled down, taught myself graphic design, and decided i would build educational pages in a planner to help my fellow nurses learn so they didn’t have to struggle like i did.  that is how the ‘student nurse planner’ was born in 2019.  

now i’m 17 years into medicine, i’ve traveled nursed and spent my time in er/icu/critical care and continue to practice to this day.  rekmed is not pretty nursing ‘notes’, and it’s not a company trying to make a buck.  rekmed’s only intention is to help you learn real-world nursing, and not scheme you into false promises of passing nclex, or great marketing and poor products.  rekmed is high-quality, content-driven, and focuses on retention learning with real-world medicine.  As a highly experienced nurse, I want you to succeed beyond my struggles.  As the cliche goes…  if it was possible for me… it is absolutely possible for you too.  It’s not about how hard the information is… It’s how it’s taught that makes all the difference.
